The Girl, The Movie, and My Number

Well last night I decided to go out and rent a movie for the season. The one I had in mind was Superbad. I've heard great things about this movie from the internet and I figured I should finally see what all the buzz was about. I stopped at my local video store to rent it but it turns out they were all out but a couple were due back later that night. This was kind of good because I noticed they only had the copies of the DVD version. I went down to the local dollar store to see if they had any rockin' deals on some DVD players and lo' and behold, they did. Picked the thing up for $25 and I'm glad to say it was a breeze to hook up. My only complaint is that it doesn't fit into my classic entertainment area. Oh well, can't always get what you want.

Anyways! After a couple of hours of waiting around at the pad I decided to go back out and get that copy of Superbad. Unfortunately a copy didn't come back by that time. The girl there was really nice and said that if I gave her my number they would call me back later when the movie came in. Now call me crazy but I'm pretty sure I spotted her pocket my number.

I don't know, maybe I'm just getting a lonely.

Little things that make me smile

-Finding an unfinished candy bar on my nightstand

-Finishing off a roll of toilet paper (makes me feel accomplished)

-Untangled fishing line. Really, there is not a thing in the world that could make me happier than getting the ol' pole out and not having to monkey around with it.

Oh the cheap joys of living...

Bad haircuts

I just hate bad haircuts. My hair has to be cut a certain way, oh yes I tried to tell them. But no, the barber has to ruin my day. My co-workers told me I look like Fraiser, but I don't know what to think. I'm a little glad because I like Fraiser, but I'm sad because I love hair...

I grabbed a bit of polish and now it doesn't look so bad. But life just loves to beat you down, you know? Can't let it get to you; I don't anyway. When life gives you bad hair, might as well polish it up a bit, right?

I think that's pretty good.

I get an upgrade

Well today has been some what of a success. After purchasing my new CD-Rom drive (I had to get one finally, nobody is selling Floppy Disks anymore) and installing, I can finally say that the wait was worth it. With this bold new step to computer modification I have decided that I will be losing my 56k modem and getting cable. My cat Oscar had recently died and this splurge of money has kept me preoccupied. I think it is time that I go out and live today and everyday!

New Fonts

So I've stumbled upon a site that features free fonts. Well, some of them are free. I'm wondering if I should take the plunge and purchase some. You never know when you might need to impress some people with a PowerPoint.
